Newquay Airport project shortlisted for Aviation Innovation Award
ACS Modular was proud to be shortlisted for the Aviation Innovation Award at the Aviation Industry Awards UK 2026, recognising our work at Cornwall Airport Newquay.
The awards took place in London on 22 September. Organisations from across the aviation industry came together to recognise projects, innovation and achievement within the sector.
Our shortlisted project saw ACS Modular design and deliver a bespoke modular solution at Cornwall Airport Newquay. The project supported the secure transfer of passengers between the terminal and runway.
The solution demonstrates how modular construction can help airports respond efficiently to operational challenges. It also shows how this can be achieved within the security and logistical requirements of a live airport environment.
While we didn’t come away with the trophy, being shortlisted was fantastic recognition for the project and the team behind its delivery.
It was our first time attending the Aviation Industry Awards UK and a great evening celebrating some of the work taking place across the sector.
